Description:
Builders love to talk about dreams … their dream homes and their dream neighborhoods. Charleton Highlands LLC is different. That’s because they prefer to talk about your dream home and your dream neighborhood. This builder puts the focus on you –– on making sure that your dream for a beautiful and affordable home comes true.

The developer’s newest venue bears its very name –– Charleton Highlands. Located in Orland Park, this attractive collection of luxury single-family homes targets those who dream of the pride and pleasure of home ownership but not the hassles of outdoor maintenance and chores.

Called “semi-custom homes,” Charleton Highlands presents everyone –– from young professionals to down-sizers and empty nesters –– with the opportunity to enjoy and to experience the best that a new home has to offer minus the weekend chores. Professional groundsmen take care of all that. So, instead of mowing lawns, trimming bushes, or tending to landscaping, residents choose how they want to enjoy their precious free time –– whether it’s taking a bike ride, shopping or catching an afternoon movie followed by dinner at a favorite nearby restaurant.

With 20 available sites, Charleton Highlands shows that the dedication and skills of yesterday’s master craftsmen can be customized to today’s needs, dreams, and environments. The community features five distinct styles of homes, ranging in size from 1,600 sq. ft. to almost 3,000 sq. ft.

Importantly, the community’s homes are flexible and adaptable enough to be transformed into other styles. For example, being a true semi-custom builder, Charleton Highlands can rework a plan to add a bedroom or two; redesign a kitchen; finish a basement; even add another floor with bedrooms and a bath to a ranch. “We’re proud of our expertise and ability to bring an entirely different direction to the original floor plan.”

Here is a brief description of the model homes of Charleton Highlands.
  • The Sheffield (1,670 sq. ft.) $379,900 : A charming two-story home with three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a two-car garage and basement. Perfect for the first-time buyer or for those desiring to downsize. *Ask about our Sheffield 2 – special $359,000.

Charleton Highlands stands above other builders in many ways: The most outstanding mark of their excellence, however, is their definition of “standard.” That’s because their “standards” are anything but that. The features that Charleton Highlands defines as “standards” are generally billed as add-on luxuries by other builders or as being “above the norm.”

Some examples of their luxury standards in every home include a large kitchen package of stainless steel appliances (range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave); full granite countertops; kitchen island with granite-topped breakfast bar; hardwood flooring; custom cabinetry; packages for lighting and ceramic tile; and its signature low-maintenance package that uses professional landscapers to take care of the properties (mow lawns, plow/shovel snow, fertilize, etc.).

Charleton Highlands is extremely considerate of the environments in which it places its communities. Proof positive is their choice of Orland Park. Even though this village of over 55,000 residents continues its wave of growth, expansion, and redevelopment from a rural community to a major Chicago suburb, it is doing so with integrity and respect for its history.

Orland Park was ranked #45 on “Money Magazine’s” Top 100 List of America’s Best Places to Live (August 2006). It scored highest in arts, leisure, and education and was the second highest ranked city in the state of Illinois. Orland Park was praised for “big-city opportunity with a lot more green space and a lot less stress.”

Orland Park is within 25 miles of downtown Chicago and is 25 miles from O’Hare International Airport and 14 miles from Chicago’s Midway Airport. It is serviced by Pace bus service and by the Metra Southwest train system.
